Dr. Ron’s “Bounty” system

Someone once said to me…“what you are looking for is looking for you.” However, we dentists, when looking for a new employee to fill an open spot, do a rather good job of keeping ourselves a secret. We must be embarrassed about the position we have available because we don’t let the “universe” know we are looking for that special person. We often put an ad (and a lousy, non-descript one to boot) in the paper and then scratch our heads when few if any quality candidates apply for the position. We then scream that there are “no good people out there…not like the old days.” Nonsense…I have a tool. I call it my BOUNTY SHEET that can increase your number of candidates by a factor of 10. I call it my . Here is how to make this work. You identify several of the most critical personality traits and characteristics you want to see in your next hire. Then print off several copies of the BOUNTY sheet found in this post. Then role play with your staff on how they can over the next 2-3 weeks ask every “A” or “B” patient if they or anyone they know who exhibits these characteristics to contact your office.
