A Cornucopia of “Stuff”

20 November 2007

“I complained and complained about having no shoes until I met the man who had no feet” is a life-lesson I learned from a beautiful and dear hygienist friend of mine, Mrs. Cathy Stitak.  Just when we think we have it bad, we discover there are others so much worse off than us and in reality, we have a lot for which to be grateful.  This message has stuck with me and as we come up to this years Thanksgiving I want to encourage you to reflect on the following three questions:

  1. To whom are you most grateful for where you find yourself today in your life?
  2. How can you honor them personally or in memory?
  3. How can you be more like them in your behaviors this week?

I want to pass on a big Thanksgiving wish to all my clients, friends, and subscribers who thankfully read my posts.  Click here to down load my “Dr. Ron’s Top Three” for November on Gratitude.  What I want for you is a safe holiday with family and friends and where you will feel valued and appreciated.  For me, I plan on being with my Sweetness Trish, Brianne (favorite youngest daughter), and Ashley (favorite oldest daughter) and son-in-law Jude.  I am attaching two downloads to recognize the holiday.  One is a list of what I’m THANKFUL for and you might discover some ideas that might resonate for you.  Click on Thankful.  The final one is a Cornucopia of Stuff including a reminder of Secret Santa; how to stop complaining; a “kool” baked potato recipe; and how to help a hospital get an MRI machine.  Click on “Cornucopia” above.  Oh, take a moment to click on Gimundo to learn about Family-Friendly TV shows for the Holidays.  And finally, wish me well on my Cardiolytic Stress Test this week……I have been studying for nearly a year.
