Annual Goal Planning

Halloween marks the end of October and the time of the year when business persons (that includes dentists) would be wise to begin their planning for 2008.  For the remainder of the year, I will be referencing the idea of Goal Planning in each of my posts.  I will include examples; links; ideas; and many coaching questions you can use with your business planning and personal planning as you prepare to enter 2008.  I know for some, the idea of goal planning is repugnant or seen as a waste of time and as such I have no intention of convincing you otherwise.  You’ll delete me anyhow.  For those who do see value in planning,you will want to save many of these posts as they will be personally valuable to you.  Take a moment to download this reminder:  Goal Setting. 

So here are some coaching questions for you to ponder:

• What do you want to accomplish and achieve in 2008?
• How well did you do with your accomplishments in 2007?
• What do you need or want to do differently?
• What is the value for you, or you and your team ,or you and your significant other to set aside a full day to reflect; ideate; and plan out your future of choice?

Take the time to reflect on these questions.  In addition, you will want to download this Questionnaire developed by Dr. Mike Mulkey and myself and pass onto your team members.
