Will you be a Johnny today?

I continue to hear clients begging for marketing ideas.  That special “something” that will drive people to call their offices.  They are looking for the “magic pill” that will solve all their business problems.  If I could just get these people to visit the office, all my financial challenges would disappear.  I think the same thing…..”Damn, wouldn’t it be great if we could take that “pill” that would shed all my “tonnage” that currently makes me feel like a beached whale?”  Well guys and gals, in spite of all the crap and hype you hear about the “secrets to marketing”…..it doesn’t exist!  Yours and my success is still foundationally ALL ABOUT relationships…and taking ACTion.  This is not rocket science and yet we get little to no training about the realities of relationship development in our dental training.  I want you to watch this short clip by Barbara Glanz and Ken Blanchard.  But before you watch it let me ask you four questions that I want you to answer privately and honestly:

1. How are you creating “memories” with your work? (List them)
2. How are you making a difference in your contacts with others? (Identify)
3. How well are you putting your “signature” on your work? (Write it down)
4. What is your willingness to be a Johnny today? (Describe what you will do today)
